The Wearable Stories Collection
Each of our garments is ornamented with our original visual interpretation of a classical story or tale. Therefore, each article of clothing becomes a conversation piece that encourages interaction between its model and the observer.
The methodology behind our art is translated through line, color, graphic quality and composition, which is constructed to enhance the elegant silhouette of the figure and bring out the individuality of our style. With our talents combined, we unite the beauty of an illustrated story with the human figure.
All of our offered products are individually hand tailored by professional hands. The artwork is printed on fabric in the USA. Although we do carry a limited stock, our apparel is typically made to-order, making each piece original and one-of-a-kind.
Tory Novikova is the owner and creative director behind Torynova Couture. She is an illustrator, designer, and Pratt Institute alumni. Our studio is located in the NYC-tristate area. Illustrations from our collection are currently featured and sold at the Society of Illustrators and the Decoration and Design Building in NYC and our apparel is carried by various upscale boutiques across the nation.
We retain the copyright to our collection, including its concept, artwork, and designs.
